About Neptune Emergency Assistance for Residents (NEAR)
Neptune Emergency Assistance for Residents (NEAR) is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2002 to assist Neptune, Neptune City, and Ocean Grove, New Jersey residents with medical-related expenses such as prescription costs. Our mission is simple: ensure neighbors can access critical medications and medically related support during difficult times. NEAR works with compassion, confidentiality, and a community-first approach-offering practical help when health issues become financial ones.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
We are volunteers who with our partner, Garden Pharmacy, work to fulfill our mission of ensuring that Neptune, Neptune City and Ocean Grove residents never go without the medication they need. We are volunteers looking for other volunteers, reaching out to local businesses as well as other area non-profits to help the uninsured and under-insured fill the gap in their medical coverage.
